How shifts work

You know how much money should be in the staff member’s till, and they know what to count every evening.

ProThis is a Pro feature.

On a staff phone you can sell only during an open shift. In the morning the Today screen says “Shift closed”: tap Open shift.
Enter the Cash float — how much money is in the till now — and tap Open shift again.
Selling is open. In the evening tap Close shift, count the money and enter the Cash in the till. The staff member doesn’t see what it should be — the owner sees it, with the difference, in Settings → Outlets & staff → Shifts.
